Well, after 3 fabulous sunny days, the Holker Garden Festival is over for another year. We were lucky to take part in the 24th Holker Garden Festival as it experienced the year’s hottest temperatures yet! We were drenched in beautiful scorching sunshine all weekend so it was smiling faces all round. It was fantastic to see so many people come along, with over 22,000 people flooding through the gates over the weekend to see floral magnificence, live entertainment, inspiring arts and crafts and of course ourselves 😉
We met popular TV gardening personality, Charlie Dimmock who was enjoying her very first visit to Holker. Charlie commented, ‘It’s been lovely to visit the Holker Garden Festival and I’ve been really impressed with all the wonderful horticultural exhibits, crafts and produce. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the new Kitchen Garden Roadshow and joining my fellow gardening panellists. It’s always a pleasure to meet other keen gardeners and hear people’s gardening stories. I hope there will be many more visits to Cumbria.”
Here are some pictures from the event and a quick timeline on how we got on!

Some quirky customers tried out our bed…
Jillian Rouse, Festival Manager said “What an absolutely wonderful show we’ve had. The sun shone and it’s been a fantastic success. It’s lovely to hear all of the positive comments from exhibitors about sales figures being up on last year; we had so many comments about the quality and selection of trade stands and produce.
We couldn’t agree more. Overall it was an absolute blast and we can’t wait to do it all again next year! Thank you to everyone who came to visit our tent, hope you had a brilliant time.
